Firm clean power for an industrial Nigeria.

Aven Energy develops utility-scale solar, long-duration energy storage, and captive industrial power in Nigeria's Middle Belt — engineered so that clean energy is not intermittent, and industry is not optional.

What we develop

Three delivery models. One product: dispatchable clean power.

Nigeria's binding constraint on industrial growth is not sunlight — it is firmness. Every Aven project is designed around delivering power that industry can build on.

Utility-scale generation & storage

Solar PV integrated with pumped hydro and battery storage, delivering firm capacity into existing distribution corridors and dedicated industrial offtake.

Energy-anchored industrial development

Free-zone industrial parks anchored on captive clean power — where reliable energy attracts manufacturers, and manufacturers underwrite the energy asset.

Commercial & industrial captive power

Behind-the-meter solar-plus-storage for agro-processing and manufacturing clusters, replacing diesel with lower-cost, contracted clean supply.

Development

Our flagship project is structured for phased delivery: an initial solar-plus-grid tranche generates operating cash flow that part-funds the storage phase — reducing construction-period debt exposure and shortening the path to financial close.

How we work

Developed to lender standard, from day one.

Every Aven project is built to survive diligence before it is presented. Four rules govern everything we produce:

Energy balances close.

Generation, storage cycles, losses, and dispatch reconcile — hour by hour, season by season. No project advances on averages that hide shortfalls.

Capital costs are fully loaded.

Development, interconnection, contingency, and financing costs are in the number from the first model. There is no second, truer budget behind the one presented.

Revenue never exceeds physics.

Projected income is capped at what the plant can physically and contractually dispatch. Optimism is not an input.

Weaknesses are pre-answered.

Every known risk in a project arrives with its mitigation attached. Diligence should confirm our documents, not correct them.

Who we work with

Structured for institutional partnership.

Governments & investment agencies

Partnership structures in which state contributions — land and enabling approvals — are valued as equity participation, with aligned incentives and defined obligations.

Lenders & development finance

Bankable documentation, phased capital structures, and offtake design built to the standards of DFIs, climate funds, and infrastructure lenders.

EPC contractors & technology partners

Early-stage engagement with internationally qualified contractors, so engineering input shapes delivered configurations — not just final pricing.

Industrial offtakers

Firm, contracted clean power for manufacturers, processors, and institutions — priced below self-generation, engineered for reliability.
